sad thing is i think people will keep on buying ea products.

for myself, i think probably will buy dragon age 3 and hope they will free bioware 3 with it. then end up buy DLCs for both etc. >_<

I dont think i want to buy any of their crap anymore. All their recent games have been far below the expectation, and that includes BF3 and ME3.

The sad truth is small companies will eventually have to be sold of to bigger ones to compete in the gaming industry. I do miss Westwood, RA2 was one of my all-time favorites.

I tend to support indie developers more now. Wonder why people like supporting EA and keep on making them even more rich

Because there was a point in time (Around 2004-2009) when EA was actually decent, supporting devs in their new IPs like Mass Effect, Dead Space and Dragon Age. Battlefield 2 BC was critically acclaimed and seemed like a good alternative to Call of Duty. I actually thought C&C 3 was excellent, though Red Alert 3 was meh and Uprising was totally shit.

EA showed such promise at the time. Too bad they pissed away all their good will.

I also understand not all game developer are doing well. Rather see the game license go down with company, is much smarter to sell it to someone else. and this called smart strategy in business, taking out competitor by taking over their company.

Please la, no matter how you hate EA, its still nothing compare to Activision.
