i'd stick with EA a lil longer... coz of MoH warfighter, i'd like to see how the story progresses

infinity wards has been the backbone of Activision since the first COD.

Actually I am still awaiting the sequels for Theme Park, Dungeon Keeper, and etc.

ask peter molyneux. He is the lead designer of Dungeon keeper and he didnt merge with EA.

I am pretty sure that they have sufficient knowledge, understanding, or even the ideas to remake one proper Dungeon Keeper, no? I mean after all, they absorbed so many resources over the years.

i would just love them to continue from dungeon keeper 1, the graphic is lousier but for me the game design is much better than dk2.

but oh well, i don't think we will ever see dk3 at all

They said PC version of Assassin's Creed 3 are encouraged to used controller and not basically designed for Keyboard & Mouse  doh.gif

I have no hate for controllers but i find K&M gives me much control over a controller any day. I played alot of controller games using K&M and it's fine and having no problems too.
*
Thats true, as its quite stupid for them for not designing PC controls.

Still, i think a lot of PC racing games, like Shift 2 and Driver: Sans Franscisco, you'll need a gamepad.

I still dont agree with AC3 needs a controller to play. Its nice that they say it now, so that i can avoid buying the game too.

COD is nothing revolutionary. infinity ward is no different than majority of other FPS makers.

without EA,

Most of the games you will not have any sequels. Games are expansive to make, without EA backing its doom to fail.

This statement is patently false when you compare to the huge number of indie games out there.

lolno, I much rather have a franchise sit fallow rather than have abominations like C&C 4.

Stop kidding yourselves.

For every one fresh indie game out there, there are 10 different versions of the same thing with minor differences.

Just look at Tower Defense.

They said that you are encouraged to use a controller. They didn't say that you need it. I don't see how much they can change the system so that a keyboard and mouse wouldn't work.

Yeahhh ENCOURAGED to use but DON'T NEED to use it but just put MORE in gamepad mapping keys rather than both gamepad and K&M mapping keys

From what i understand, Ubi don't really care much about PC gamers as i believe most of their sales comes from consoles. That's why they don't mind intrusive DRM and no support for Keyboard & Mouse.

From the announcement i saw on RPS, it does sound like they just dont really care about PC.

Anyhow, i cant do much. AC is pretty much a console title.

*spits drink*

EA created The Sims? Created?

You should be crediting these guys (and Will Wright) for creating the Sims, not EA. EA only helped to make the sequels.
