1. Your travel itinerary + gear
I'm using Canon 550D with 18-135mm lens and 50mm macro lens. I was in korea for 9D 8N covering Seoul & Jeju Island 2. Your travel experience Amazed by their culture and their lifestyle... Love all the make up store available for shopping..The weather during autumn is just nice not too cold...One thing their wifi service is so fast and is available everywhere... 3. Nice places for photo shooting Nami Island, Mount Seorak, Jeju Island 4. Tips and skills for travel photography Not so much tips..for me just stick to one lens that can suits all kind of situation..as bring too much tool is so heavy and troublesome... 5. Things to be careful or take note Bring enough of memory card, and snap as many as you could so that you have wide range of picture to choose from.. 1. ![]() 2. ![]() 3. ![]() 4. ![]() 5. ![]() 6. ![]() 7. ![]() 8. ![]() 9. ![]() |

But now which compact camera can take good shot at night??wanted to buy a néw digi cam..my old digi cam is very lousy at nite..n no anti shake function...
Me aso everyday will bring along my digi cam especially to find nice food..for travel usually will bring Dslr....if I go out for a while then will rely on my phone..one thing I like bout phone cam is we can upload immediately... I remember when I went shopping at korea I dump my Dslr on the bus, bringing oli my digi cam...So I can enjoy my shopping without carrying too much stuff... |

QUOTE(shootkk @ Apr 3 2012, 09:37 AM) Any modern digital compact camera that lets you adjust the settings like aperture and ISO can take good shots at night. All you need is a sturdy tripod and let the camera take its time with the exposure. Of course if you're dealing with moving subjects, then a flash would help. Erm..reli hv to think wisely b4 buying another digi cam..prerably thin and small n light weight..s100 let me go see the review...I have always wanted to develop all my picture into hard copy but it's too costly and too much to develop.. If I on business trip I won't bring my Dslr...cos the country I travel nothing much for me to capture and not much time.. So envy u guys who travel to Europe on business trip.. Going to kk soon..where is the place nice for photography?anyone know? |

wow i will definitely wait for tablet wit SD card slot...
sniper I agree with you, just enjoy during travel... i rmb the last time i go Europe i snap untill boring..on the 5th days onward i feel bored of all the almost similar architecture and also my teeth is sore for smilling continuously...lmao... for me during travel i usually stick to one lens...as time is limited and changing lens halfway is so troublesome... the last trip to korea for 9 days, i bring 16GB mmc only 60% full at the end of the trip..I'd shot around 20++raw pic during the trip..for now, i think better bring more mmc rather then bringing laptop along.. |

1. Your travel itinerary + gear
I am using canon 550D with 18-135mm and F1.8 50mm lens 2. Your travel experience I love everything in Bali, beaches is everywhere and the sunset is so beautiful. People here are friendly too. One the most unforgetable moment was my one night stay at Bali Tropic Resort & Spa. I love the balinese decoration in the room and the staff there is really friendly. One thing sad is during my travel it is rainy season so most of time it is cloudy which is not too friendly to my lens.. Also I had to skip a few temples as I am not allowed to visit during those period of time. I am visiting Bali again this september. 3. Nice places for photo shooting There are a lot of places with nice scenery and view but i prefer uluwatu and tanah lot especially during sunset. 4. Tips and skills for travel photography im still beginner so not much tips to share, but for me i prefer to travel light..so i stick to one lens that can suits most of the situation.. 5. Things to be careful or take note Monkeys at Uluwatu, they are well trained so please take care of your belongings...especially you photography gears, avoid being scratched by these monkeys! My picture..still not so good in taking nice picture..For iternary details please check out my blog... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by senyii: Apr 8 2012, 01:25 AM |

I was browsing images on pixelpeeper and notice that a lot of the photos taken with 7D seems sharper (comparing with others taken from 550D, 50d, 40d etc)...
