This is really a freaking noobs question. Can stone me later ya..

Perviously I was using 2 channel amp, everything was fine, but cant compare with 4 channel amp rite. So I got a 4 channel amp, and the sound is superb!

Then I notice that on certain MP3 music file, the front speaker sound and tweeter was kinda low. While others was playing great! So do you all think its the problem with the MP3 files format? Anyone had this problem before?

u may try to convert your music using dbpoweramp. it's accurate. Sometimes downloading from internet may have such problem which mostly comes from the problem when converting file format from the uploader.

Thanks for the suggestion. But MP3 is just dual channel, I wonder how it could effect that.

used to use that, then there's free audio converter (fre:ac for short, and yea the program name is exactly that lol) with much more options and also simple to use (drag drop/right click 1 button converts etc)

basically can do what dbpoweramp did, and more smile.gif

sound frequencies.

for example:
tweeters are only assigned to play high frequencies, while subwoofer plays low frequencies.

bad configuration/tuning, would result in really weird/poor sound reproduction (imagine your subwoofer singing smile.gif )

you can probably google/wiki up on sound reproduction and how it works and it'll be very clear to you as well

Yeah, i knew that. But my sound system was assemble/tune by one of the top player on the field, an indian guy which won quite some prizes in competition, but he is a loud woofer person. He claimed that MP3 is the main culprit.

Anyhow, im using tweeter for bout 1 1/2 years now. And the sound is going lower at times past, but not as bad as the last one I use. Just wondering would the tweeter wear off the effectiveness? Maybe its a another topic altogether, but yeah..

define top player.
what competition? local ones? SPL?

easiest way is to bring your mp3, and try it out in another car. if it works fine, then you know what's/who's the culprit already.

I personally tested, MP3s sounds like crap with my Pioneer 8350SD. Compression loss from MP3s can be heard clearly compared to a real, original CD. My suggestion to you, try get a real original CD(not malaysia edition or asia edition or burned yourself) and playing it in your car. you'll be amazed by the difference.

yeah, i made a comparison like that as well. mp3 quality differ a lot! but i just want to rip it as i dont want to keep it in my car. dont want to keep so many CDs in the car, afraid the heat will 'burn' it. Am now ripping it into USB. ACC is the best compression so far. quality is just as good as the CD itself.
