u may try to convert your music using dbpoweramp. it's accurate. Sometimes downloading from internet may have such problem which mostly comes from the problem when converting file format from the uploader.

converting file format got nothing to do with how many channel rite?

i dun understand why mp3 files got problem with who tune the car....if u would just guessing this and that but wont go and try to use diff mp3 and test the system, i believe it's a waste of time.

so now still dunno wat;s the prob after u re-rip it? lol

if u experience the quality of aac is good as cd, then it's time to upgrade ur system..
