Well. I am one of maybankers for IT Deparment.
For maybank there are recently backsource their IT Department after being outsourced to CSC (CSA) for 10 years and cost around USD342 Million (The biggest outsoursing tender ever in malaysian history)
IT department now known as Maybank Shared Services Sdn Bhd. IT department is the biggest maybank department as total IT Staff is around 3.2K staff. Even in IT department we do have our own HR (IT HR)
So far in IT dpt the starting grade is Band-i or BG51 (Junior Exec) equl to assistant manager if base at maybank branches. Well the benefits is almost the same with other bank (base on job grade) for exec the insurance for whole family is unlimited with no hussle (A-Z), housing loan 2-3%, 10% discount for buying proton haha. 1% of for BMW, bonus is fix to 3.5 Month whether ur good or not, but increment is base on ur KPI. Mill claims 0.90/1KM, Overtime claims RM140/more then 4 hours working perday and more for public. Good path to learn lot of things as we have the biggest department unit. Good Luck.

Opps. Bonus is diff compare to other department.
Most of the times Maybank-IB (kim eng) will get more more n more as their making 30+% for maybank income in total. For IT base person i prefered u when to CSC, Microsoft, HP or Dell for career devlpmnt. But in the end all depends on u.
