maybe is caused by the light from light bulb that go inside your lens as a stray light hmm.gif

so weird and it is green color blink.gif

QUOTE(Everdying @ May 14 2012, 10:55 PM)
looks like ur using some cheap filter and getting internal reflections.
*
coz it only happens on these few picture/settings/place. other place.lightning its fine.

so this most probably is the cause? well, i'm glad that its not cause by d body itself sweat.gif

you using ur lens hood? it helps avoid flares like that as well.

ya, most likely like other sifu said, flare from filter  unsure.gif
and is that me or the picture is not so "focus"? slow shutter speed? unsure.gif
*
pictar not focus as during that time i gone rclxub.gif on d freaking green lantern

QUOTE(tctham @ May 14 2012, 11:05 PM)
@sai86: is that lens the 35mm 1.8g?
i own that lens as well, and that lens is very prone to ghosting like that.. it's definitely caused by the internal reflection of the (probably cheap) uv filter.. it happens to me as well.. when reach night or when there are strong light sources like that, i would usually remove the filter before taking the shots..
if you check again your "weird" lights, they are the light sources in your pictures.. the 3rd one have 2 long lines that is the reflection from the fluorescent light.
*
its a normal 50mm 1.8D

QUOTE(Agito666 @ May 14 2012, 11:08 PM)
even B+W uv filter also got on 24-70 lens  unsure.gif

like last time i show one  unsure.gif

----

by the way is that sai86 ask be before for the 35mm worth to buy?
i know a lot people ask me 35mm worth to buy or not and i straight direct them to forum and my 35mm fb album and others using 35mm  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
yeap, i did ask b4 back on january iinm.

lets say if budget permitted, is it wise to get 35mm 1.4g out of other?

lens in possess : 50mm 1.8d and a 18-55mm lens.
type of shoot : portrait to landscape. not so keen on long range shot.
i'm juz too freaking newb on this photography laugh.gif
