Dear All, i have a common problem that might face by u all...but i trying to verify it before sending for service...

i have black dots in my photos when shooting F12 and above. i have try switching between lens but it still appeared...so, is this mean the image processor is dirty or? i have try to shake the image sensor, and even mirror up to blow it...but this not working, the black dots is still there...i have about 10 dots there that so irriatate to edit it...lolx..

if it is the image sensor problem, can we service it our own or how much is the market price to send for service? thanks..

btw, im using D7000...

see on the sensor itself if u can see lots of small little black dots on it.
if got, then those are the oil spots from the shutter mechanism.
just send it into nikon, free part replacement.

Thanks for yours reply...
Tony Stark, do you know the market price for cleaning?
Everdying, if thats the black dots, is the free part replacement with camera within warranty? mine is already not in warranty >.<

Dear All,

do you all have any experience that sending camera for warranty without receipt, only with warranty card, is this acceptable?

i am planning to send my body to repair, there are water mark on the image sensor.

is it true that sending direct to PKNS at Petaling Jaya will be much more faster than BTS?

appreciate for your sharings and advice ^^

Dear All Sifu, i am considering SB-910 and SB-700...most of the time, i shoot only during travelling and some family gatherings. intended to get some part time jobs in the future as realised photography hobby really hard to maintain with current living >.< should i go for SB-700 first, learn well and when got more practice, feel there is constraint for SB-700 then only upgrade or should i pain pain go get the SB-900? dilemma here.. any advise?

Also, plan to get a battery grip after getting the flash...any advise for 3rd party brand? i see Phottix is almost half price of nikon ori >.< or is it still nikon the better? or if the handling is similiar, might as well go for 3rd party...

thanks in advance for the advice
