i'm not sure how the resampling reduces noise for D4 / D800.
noise should still be the same resampled, just not as obvious.

Added on April 2, 2012, 11:41 amanyway, everyones fav Dx0 has released their findings which i guess everyone knows by now.
D3s about 1/2 stop better than D4, and D4 about 1 stop better than D800.
so that should reason that D800 is just about 1 stop better than D700.

Somehow it feels like 18-200 vs 85mm

Own a D7000 kit lense and a P300.

Plan to get the Nikkor 35mm/f1.8 and an ultra wide lense.

Anyone here pair D7000 with Tamron 10-24/Sigma 10-24/Tokina 11-16mm Ultra wide lense? Any recommendation out of this 3?

The Sigma is a 10-20, no? I still have mine sitting in the dry cabinet. This was my go to lens when I was shooting with the D300 and if I needed wide angle.

Opphs, my D300 is also sitting idle in the dry cabinet. Need to offload them.
Congrats. Perhaps now you would invest in a sturdy tripod. If you want to get bigger magnification at the same working distance, you can try a TC like the Kenko 1.4x or Kenko extension tubes or a close up filter like the Raynox DCR-250. Use Liveview if you have for composition and focusing.

photographer wannabe, want to show off their flash while i use my monopod go high angle shot event

my friend borrow me flash today, and i only use it for AF assist and all the way using available light

even stage i also shot without flash

can anyone suggest a good alternative to the Nikon AF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED DX VR II ?
