soooo long no see you post.. kekekeke~

cuz digicam sensor smaller, the DOF is shallower with bigger sensor..

if you want to try, perhaps use an UWA lens? prob can get sufficient DOF smile.gif

Read many tutorials on how to bounce/diffuse built in flash and most of them failed.. So I just grabbed a piece of paper and angled it and put it in front of mah flash. Worked like a charm laugh.gif

maybe you can try using torch light and diffuse the light with masking tape or A4 paper
*
I prefer reflecting.. Diffused built in flash can never compare with reflected light IMO

Hi sifus, wanna ask how to improve pale pictures taken under fluorescent light?
for example...

Any ways to enrich the colours, make it more vibrant?

still a noob who recently got D3100. I didn't use flash coz it looks unnatural. I'm on aperture mode, not auto.
*
hello biggrin.gif Fellow D3100 user here..

It looks a little on the blue side... Why don't you try using White Balance setting to make it warmer? You can set it by pressing Menu> Shooting Menu> WB. Default should be AUTO. Highlight AUTO and press the right arrow button (>). Here you can customize your WB. I personally use A4 because I prefer my photos to be on the warm side smile.gif

Next, like other users mentioned, very obvious the light is above because we can see the shadows which can be quite ugly.. I also feel that it is a little underexposed. You can actually use built in flash to get nice shots, but not directly. It's actually quite simple, because I don't need to use flash very much, I dont have a standard diffuser lying around.. I just diffuse by grabbing my phone, and angle it 45 degrees to the camera flash, when I shoot the flash will be bounced upwards and so far this method works brilliantly for me biggrin.gif If it's too dark you can adjust your flash power by going to Shooting Menu> Built-in Flash. Default should be TTL but you can change it to Manual and then set the power from FULL(1/1) to 1/32 according to your liking. Go ahead and try, come back with results smile.gif
Good luck!
Here's an example of photo from using the flash technique I mentioned:

Anyone knows opposite Leisure Mall Taman Taynton side there's a car showroom? Beside the corner house one.. Has all the different car brand logos on the building. I just found out that a white Lambo is sitting inside that building.. Anyone photographed there before?

If you are so interested in photographing Lambos, did you head to Sepang last weekend for the Super Trofeo Asia Series?
Woow ! Str33tBoY for Nikon president !
I guess both are the same. Depends on how much the booth participants are willing to pay for them.
Autoart or Norev?
