28mm 1.8G price released...USD900.
so looks like for somewhere around RM4.5k can get a nice somewhat poorman ultimate trinity with the 50mm and 85mm 1.8Gs.
*
That price is pretty sweet! Hits the spot i guess comparing with the prices of 24mm 1.4 and 35mm 1.4!

guys... any idea what small bag do you recommend on getting for a light traveller? daily use and will always full-charge on-the-go... packing up just a D7000 with grip and 1lens attached either prime or kitlens (with hood) and nothing else.

Actually, I asked is to see any other options available. I do found many but most cant fit in the grip. If the grip fits, then the bag would be big and bulky.

Any of you travelling light with just simple gear?  hmm.gif

wink.gif
*
Kata light tri 233

Using it as my daily pack d7000 with grip 16-35 f4, 70-200 2.8, sb700, cpl and nd filter. Still can skip spare battery it's damn comfortable too!

*
Wow haha I think the shirt is a good idea!

Just ask your assistant to wear on the go..

Not just last pic actually. Seems like too much contrast or clarity or both.
*
Thanks for the comment! Could you lead me to the right direction?
I was wondering when a picture has to much contrast will it look too messy?
I was just trying out something I learned from a CD I bought a year ago! Now only took the time to learn lol..

Nevertheless would love to improve myself!

As hidden commented, it's personal. For me, I feel it's too much contrast/clarity or both, how much you pump/adjust?
As I notice, usually people like to pump in high contrast and clarity to give the "Oomph", but then if you look at the details and compare, you will notice it will darken too much. At a glance it look "Wow", but as you pay more attention, you may see things differently, especially when there is human subject, you will want to tone down on both these (although some people still tend to pump  a lot of contrast and clarity, so it's really personal; but to make a dramatic picture, most people pump this, sort of like Dragaan effect, or something like that.
Btw, I believe pic 1136 can further improve by correcting the WB.

Anyway, for the picture itself, I feel it looks unnatural, something like overdone HDR look. Just my personal opinion when I saw the last 3 pictures. As mentioned, it's personal feel, some may like it, some may not.

My cheap 2 shutter click.
*
I see.. Thinking about it yea it does look over-cooked. Too many elements in the picture.

Thanks for the comments! Would love to grow more!

For me clarity / contrast is all personal preference.

I comment mainly on the left tiang where the line sengget. I donno how to describe. Maybe tonight after work, I'll just take the pic and rework and show what I mean. Maybe just me who prefer things not sengget especially in this kind of photo

1 cent.

Thanks thanks! Remember to call me out when you go shooting =p

composition? i only see angles adjusted.
and the mirror got cut off more cos of the adjustment.

if u got chance to reshoot it, perhaps stand 2 ft to ur left, so can look down the corridor more.

Ahh thanks! I got out from the restaurant and I saw the opposite restaurant which looked really good to me so just took a snap!

I'm not high class at all.. Just that I love fine dining, so I'll just spend some money for the experience!

Let me share some yummy dessert!

This is one of the best dessert I had in my life..

how much is that? RM30?

btw, does anyone watch america's next top model etc?
its very good for learning how to shoot portraits during the photo judging section where they criticize the model's pose, eyes etc etc.
*
Hahaha Yea! The owner of the restaurant appeared on junior master chef before!
I can't really remember the price,I had it last year!

Unfortunately I do not have Astro, but i'll find links to download it! Thanks for the info!
