by the way, i would like to ask.. when you all attach an external flash onto the camera.. how does the camera handles the shutter speed? it seems like it ignored my settings of shutter speed more than 1/30s.. sometimes it goes down to 1/20s when i still have a lot of ISO to spare (ISO 500)

Are you on Aperture Priority mode? Auto ISO?

Try using manual ISO selection. Auto ISO means you would have no control over ISO and the amount of SS you're getting. It'll all depend on how your camera is programmed. Some cameras tend to use really high ISO to give fast SS whereas some keep ISO to a minimum, for example below ISO400 which results in really low SS in low light conditions

If you insist on Auto ISO, I believe that there's quite some customizations for it like minimum shutter speed and max SS. I'm not exactly sure because I'm using a Canon smile.gif

Is there like a limit to how high the auto ISO would go when flash is mounted? For Canon system, it'll not go more than ISO400 no matter what (strange) but when there's no flash mounted, it'll be back to normal.

Anyway, changing the ISO manually isn't so hard right? smile.gif
