last night game was a big result for us. i even watched the game with my daughter who can't sleep because of flu haha

i believe we got 1/4 of our feet into the final. not even half because we will go against the advantage that barca will get as the home team. i really hope this scoreline will not make everybody complacent as the competition is all about the team that emerges the best from two legs.

for the first time i would like to praise meireless. some might not see his importance but during the match, he plugged the midfield so well. of course with his partner in crime, mikel. but his ability to read the game is superb. things that both of them (mikel+meireless) need to improve is where they clear the ball. might as well create a counter-attack with a carefully passed ball.

we nullify all the creativity of barca's midfield and that is totally satisfying. i hope in the return leg, we are not planning to defend all the way since this will give a lot of chance for them to invent their winning touches. play like usual and be very very dicipline in defending.

hopefully JM can do us a favor by winning the el classico this weekend. might hurt their mentality a bit more hehe

been reading around the internet and got a lot of people say we won but it was an ugly match because we just defend all the way. i wonder why playing defensively is deemed as ugly?

imo, playing defensively is also one of the tactics in football. this is barcelona we are talking about. the team that got the most attacking threat besides real madrid. we will be uberly stupid to go for an all-out attacking mode against this team because this will make ourselves exposed at the back. even when playing defensively, without the decipline that our lads showed last night, we might still not be able to content the attacking threat that barca got.

after all, it is the result that will be remembered for.

been waiting to post something after the game last night but i am too exited and went to sleep directly hehe

1>what is the use to play beautifully because at last, the result is what matters.. what is the use to complete 700+ passes while doing 100+ passes can get the result already. conclusion? go f*** yourself if you complaint about winning in an ugly way. winning is all that matters!

2>people used to call use plastic because we hand over plastic flags to our supporter. anybody realize what barca fans are waving last night? pls do not say 70k people 'accidentally' bring the same plastic fans to be waved LOL!

3>sad that we lose cahill early on, but valdes do the job for us by eliminating pique. i tot bosingwa going to be raped apart by iniesta but he is so damn good as a center-back haha losing terry is a big blow for the upcoming final but i believe cahill+luiz can do the job. after all, they are our future!

4>i was fuming when drogba is substituted for torres as i think drogba is holding up the ball pretty well upfront. but it was well justified by the cool finish in the dying minutes hehe

5>there is one very similar thing that happens during our encounter against barcelona in JM era. the same thing that ballack told everybody seasons ago. do not be afraid to commit fouls against barcelona. this is because it will reset their attacking tempo and thus nullifying the threat of xavi and co. this crucial part is played by both men that is going to miss the final, ramires and meireless. as for meireless, you have done a very good job defensively. hope essien can get ready to plug the gap during final.

6>i do believe rdm are worthy to be a manager on permanent basis. why change the manager when everything is going so well. the players also seems to enjoy their time under rdm.

very very satisfied with the game last night hehe.. last year torres only manage to get 1 goal for us.. at the moment, he got 10 already right? 1 MU, 1 swansea, 2 genk, 2 leicester, 1 barca, 3 qpr. hopefully this form continue to build up for next season.. and hopefully he will get his place back in spain squad.

well deserved win by newcastle. both goals by cisse are wonders and i think the 2nd goal have the potential to be the goal of the season. what a weird trajectory!

rdm try to conserve the freshness of the squad with the fa cup final just days away. but in doing so, i think he is wasting a good run of form in torres. by using 'the usual culprit' in malouda and meireless, i already know from the start torres will not get the service he wanted. the same goes to the rest of our attacker in sturridge and ramires.. when torres himself turning into the role as a provider, you should know something is not right in the midfield. and i can't describe how poor meireless is in this match..

brilliantly taken goal by ramires.. although i think reina should've done better.

drogba a bit anonymous in this half.. and imo, with the current situation, subbing torres in would be beneficial as liverpool left a lot of spaces during their attacking period

as i said.. implement the goal line technology then only we talk about this haha after all, this is drama right?

2nd half a lot of player seems very tired.. no more super runs by ramires. and mikel was also very quiet.

apa2 pun, yang penting, MENANG!
