Hi conquerorX, for lego hunting, try KLCC Isetan, Times Square/The Garden Brickboytoys, Midvalley/KLCC toyrus. I think these are among the largest lego store available. Brickboytoys also open another branch somewhere else, can't remember where cause I haven't visit there yet. tongue.gif

IIRC, 8421 costed RM 899. It comes with 1800+ pcs, 8 wheels, 2 pneumatics actuator, 1 battery pack and 1 motor. It was the best of Lego crane ever produced.

8275 cost RM 834, comes with about 1300+ pcs, 2 XL motors and 2 regular motors, 2 IR receiver, 1 controller/transmitter, 1 battery pack. Again, best lego bulldozer (probably the best power function set), and the first set that introduce power function.

8258, not sure how much it cost, has about 1800+ pcs, has 1 XL motor, 1 switch, 1 battery pack. I think the best part is that, it use only 1 motor to control several movement (4 different movement I think). So it has a very well engineered gearbox that can switch between these function.

Added on January 17, 2010, 12:59 pmI try ordering from lego shop just now, just to check the courier fee. But they are not delivering to Malaysia. How did you get yours?

yaphong, let me know when you are getting from US again.

8049 seems like a nice package, 2 pneumatics and 1 power function. Wonder how much it's cost when arrive here. If there going to be sales in Sg for this set, i'm definitely going over there!

Sweet. All are rare, especially UCS Snowspeeder (though not as iconic as x-wing). Why are you letting it go?

Try get new NXT 2.0. It's should be available at large ToyRus store, or check out brickboytoys. Prepare around RM1.4-1.5k, I think blink.gif

Anyway, fans of technic, this is definitely something you don't want to miss drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif :

Most expensive single technic set ever was 8421 Mobile Crane, which is RM900 blink.gif . Hopefully this one doesn't go beyond that.

And probably best bike design ever:

with equally good looking alternate model:

Do you guys made a custom model, or just follow the manual? For me the point of buying Lego is make your own model out of it
*
Both. First I build the model according to the manual. Always like to see what's new with the assembly, technique. When it comes to technics brick, there are so much construction variety. I only disassembled the model when I need the parts for own creation. sweat.gif

Beside, taking apart model consume more time and much more effort. For technic set that is... sweat.gif

Yea, had been detached from Lego for 2 years now. rolleyes.gif The set has just recently launch right? So I was wondering if it had already here, or not. I was kind of disappointed with Lego when they discontinue pneumatic function. The problem with linear actuator is that it need batteries..!!! But the excavator look pretty amazing... smile.gif
