You have to accept the fact that the pricing here is expensive unless you are willing to take that those of damaged box. Try buy online lo.

Here is the review for 7748: Corporate Alliance Tank Droid. This 2009 set has 216 pieces and is part of the Clone Wars line. The Jet Trooper minifigures are unique to this set and are my main reason for getting this. The CAT droid itself is a rather "unique" vehicle, yet after the build I am quite pleased with it. And LEGO did a good job capturing the essence of the CAT!

Collage 1: Front and rear view of box, parts and instructions. I love the flying or rocketeering Clone Trooper. The rear depicts the set's features. The CAT itself has two flick-fire missiles. The rolling motion is a letdown. It doesn't really work on my tiled floors. The Clone catapult works well launching the clones, but don't expect them to get any serious air. There are no stickers in this set rclxms.gif only two large printed circular plates.

Collage 2: The first few build steps. Here the main chassis for the CAT is being assembled. Great that have a helping hand from the clones and droids.

Collage 3: After the main chassis is completed, the trooper uses his jet pack to build the tower assembly. That assembly is used to fit the to printed circular plates which dominates the CAT. Again the jet troopers prove valuable as they assemble the "eyes" of the CAT. The "eyes" reminds me of Autobot Wheelie in TF2:ROTF.

Collage 4: Clone trooper fitting in the flick-fire missiles. One of them has a doh.gif moment when the droidsmake a hash out of the tracks. The completed CAT is about 17cm long, 8.7com wide in the front, around 5.5cm wide at the back and just about 10cm high (depending on how you place the "eyes").

Clone1: "Dude, you sure about this?" Clone2: "Don't worry man, you'll be fine, when you run of fuel, use your parachute." Clone1: "what parachuteeee...." He landed face first into my tiles... blink.gif
Clone1: "Please don't shoot me!" He gets run over by the CAT and ends up face first into the ground. Being a clone is a dangerous job.

Final thoughts: The jet troopers are cool, but I prefer the rocket droids from 8086 Droid Tri-Fighter. At least their colours aren't so dull. The CAT does have an intriguing design, and it does give my AT-TE an enemy. However I have to say, the Jet Trooper makes this set.

Thanks,
Ray

i use vpost.
from my previous orders, average vpost charge about ~rm100-rm250 per shipment depend on size.
so if you get big box, it is way cheaper.
eg TRS sell rm450 but oversea sell rm190.
so even 1 box u already cover the shipment; let alone u order 3-4 box.
(go understand how vpost work for detail..)

problem is lego.com dont want to forward to vpost...

anyway i go back to amazon.com. slightly higher then lego.com but still cheaper then here..

I simply just leave it there on the floor for now. When I move to a new house (soon), I will decide a way. Most likely covering with transparent hard plastic or glass if it doesn't cost much.
