QUOTE(mhisyam6 @ Oct 4 2012, 01:08 PM) same bike and same victim? but I searched online this MTB sold for RM 1.25K just RM 50 difference. and then get cheap accessories helmet, glove, bottle. total = RM1440.. haha yeah...same bike...same victim let's go convoy next time leong. but i guess most ppl new to biking fall for the same thing and the next thing they tell you is that you will enjoy slowly upgrading part by part... but anyways...the bike we have now is still good to use. I sorta survived bkt kiara as my first off-road trail riding experience with the help of Timmothy and gang At least with the bike we have now we can train and make mistakes with it and become better till we get a really good one now i'm slowly saving money to buy a whole complete set....eye'ing on a lot of nice nice bikes i see xD damn poisoned into the hobby already |

for me a bit positive way to look at it is that its better to make mistakes like a newbie with a newbie bike haha
having a pro bike and making mistakes on it is a lot more embarrassing if i have to be noobly then at least i look the part then not so bad once my biking skill increase and that my skills match the bike i have then better |

apologies for the misunderstanding brother...but what you said...is precisely what i meant
probably my newbie definition of pro bike is not clear but to define it clearly here forth what i meant by pro bike is a completed full set bike instead of upgrading part by part. and no i dont didnt blame the bike at all if you could just read abit slower what i tpyed QUOTE(Broadica @ Oct 4 2012, 03:09 PM) thats wrong thinking bro.. not asking you get a pro bike. but asking u get the right complete bike rather than upgrade part by parts to be more value added. atleast bike is capable and u are force to up ur skill. rather than blame da bike. more importantly is that u gotta ride the trail more often to increase the skill. |

QUOTE(chyu89 @ Oct 14 2012, 11:20 PM) yeah, its crazy! really spent till balls dropping off already. $_$ I wud advise getting a 2nd hand cheap bike (that has gone thru places and proven wont break down) and take it thru the game first before considering getting a real complete bike. At least then they wud know what they getting into first lol. I strongly recommend go with Chyu89 ^.^ |

QUOTE(chyu89 @ Oct 15 2012, 05:19 PM) buy bike must see geometry, what brand what price, geometry comes first. completely agree ever notice why some bangla cycle to work no energy whilst some still very energetic. the geometry really makes the BIG difference...once try it only will know the sheer responsiveness and power transfer! |
