Actually, this is a noob question, but what the hell. I  need to find out. Those of you guys who have those rear mounted bicycle rack, I was wondering, when you guys go riding, after you guys have parked your vehicle and unloaded your bikes, do you normally remove your rear bicycle rack and place it in the car boot and once you are back from your ride, take it out and mount the bike back again, or do you guys just leave it there?

Hmm..also more convenient too. Probably will do that anyway. Just try to park the car at a place which is not too lonely.
