Both Aztech HW 550-3G and TP Link MR 3420 only costs RM 80 each (or lesser). E353 I bought it very cheap, less than RM 100. (Bought from overseas).
Do your own math.

I would suggest you to get two units of MR 3420 rather than Aztech HW 550-3G due to the flexibility and accepts more types of modems.

The modem, you can use E1762 or E353 that buy here at RM 200.
No issue isn't it?

Some guys are so damn Pormah, haiz, buying a rm80 router also make so much fuzz

Pls la.........just go and buy, if it dun work, sell it away for rm70, you only lose rm10 after all the hussle and bussle

If update firmware also no issue ma, so easy and can accept more types of modems.

How's your current speed on your current modem?

4xxkb/s is not max speed.
3.6Mbps you should expect to see around 3.6Mbps.
But if it is direct download, you should expect around 400kBps.
1Byte = 8 bits.

It is 4xxkBps Big difference you know?
OK, get a better modem and you will enjoy good speed.

It is 3.6Mbps modem.

a E1762 is a better modem compared to a E1552 

be more specific la 

just tell him to get a E353 or E372 if his budget permits, or the E398, (rm550, no warranty, import  from China)

both my routers , MR3420 and MR3220  bought from LYN garage sale, both also rm50, MR3420 used 6 mths and the MR3220 used only 1 mth by the sellers and another Router Aztech HW550 bought new from LYP , rm1xx.00 back then.....

you in Penang, ask Sdr Chua, he is Penang guy. He can give u goos advice where in Penang can get them.......maybe he have one for sale too 

Firmware upgrading is so easy, I did it myself. No issue at all.

hey, new router only rm85, for rm85 you learn to brick a router, its cheap school fees wei, much more u can claim warranty , RMA a new router too............

my fren spoilt  his iphone4s lcd (but din crack), he asked a technician to purposely short the iphone till it cannot be turn-on and send back to Apple for a replacement   

firmware update is very very easy,.

download the firmware u want,

go to 192.168.1.1

key in username and password

go to last -> system tools

select firmware upgrade

click browse for the firmware u have downloaded and unzip ready ( .bin format )

and click upgrade,

done

just follow those step, 

my speed is ok today, am satisfy even though maxis a bit congested here
