 Switch for Water Heater (Shared Bathroom), Advice Needed: Where to locate?

If allow, place inside the bath room, make sure if far from water splashing, and locate it high, maybe 5ft.

If can't locate one each room like EC mention.

My parent house the switch in the toilet, I buy the rubber front to put it in, apply silicone sealer on the side before put in. Till now about ten years still good.
