There is a new rule that is coming up in the education world - MQA passes in degree / CAT will not be valid in ACCA by July 2013.  The colleges will have to make you do additional papers to replace the credit that you have completed in CAT or Degree.  Do get ready for that.

do you have any sos for this? which group will be affected?

not really sure..i've been lurking around and found out that the bahasa kebangsaan if only they didn't get credit in BM during SPM and as for Islamic/moral is compulsory. but the thing is i cannot grad if i still didn't take the subject right?

Regarding MQA subjects - there is some changes being made by our local MOE - they need the students to take the paper one more time - something about credits being fulfilled or something...... rclxub.gif

Hi, I'm just a Form5 student curious about things.

Can I know whats the difference between Accrual Expenses, Provision Expenses and Prepay?
*
Simple explanation would be

Accrual = expenses not yet paid
provision = estimation for future expense
Prepayment = expense pain in advance

So does provision count as an expense? Does it need to be deducted off after knowing the actual expense?

For example, I estimate the electric bill for the next month to be RM500. But when the bill comes it shows RM400. What will be the transaction?
*
Yes..you need to derecognised back the excess amount...for example (by taking your example:

Dr electricity 500
cr Provision for electricity 500

when the actual amount occurs

Dr Provision for electricity 500
Cr bank 400
Cr Over provide provision for electricity 100

although provision for electricity is not appropriate since definitely occurs monthly~
