if you all want to work... then i'd advise to go for relevant part time jobs

with flexible boss that will allow you to go class by leaving work place early

That is what I always say. They have been cutting down their costs (SA mag, shipping, security and other fees for exam papers) but the fees goes up without fail.

Anxious at work the whole day, decided only to check my mail until I'm in the comfort of my own room...

And now finally  biggrin.gif

Double checked, and my eyes are not fooling me  rclxm9.gif

Ya for those who kept failing at one subject(optional), try switching to another. I was the same when failing P4 consecutively although spent so much time studying, then switch to P7 and finally I can smile.

It's ok, no offense taken. In fact, i'll have to thank you for being honest in ur reply. Well, i share your sentiments. That is y i stated i didnt finish the syllabus in time. I was just wondering for those who experienced in both papers, perhaps they could tell me which is easier to pass. But then again, i believe going into p4 will get me to start all over again and this will even burden me since i could not even finish my syllabus for p6 in last sitting. Well, guess i hav to stick to p6 and giv it a try once more.

Anyway, if i self study p6 for this sitting (June 2013), based on all the notes i have and update wherever tax rules n regulations accordingly, and do all past exam papers... do you think it is possible? cos i heard that self study is almost impossible for p6 but i cant afford to go for class again. Please advise. Thanks!

I believe P6 is easier to pass than P4.

and I think P4 is harder to self study if you didn't even go to class before

as you may not grasp the essence of those theories by just self study

May I know why you can't afford to go for class again?

4 sittings per year

- pros

able to concentrate 1 paper per time and fully focus on the subject

- cons

need to pay more money in a year

if keep failing then students may tempted to go gung-ho style

then become pay more money than necessary?

It is possible to self study any of the ACCA papers. Many did that and passed easily.

it's possible to pass acca without looking at the textbook too

all depends on your determination
