Just sorted my reno plan for 1209sqft. Simple design with tower unit and island. The stove will be placed at the wall of the 2nd bathroom. Hard to visualize. Will share the sketch plan soon.

Can share your kitchen design for 1209sqft? smile.gif

I have the 1200 sqft. This is my rough ideas for the kitchen cabinet with a closed L table counter. Share yours =D
*
Looks cool. Means the hood is almost in the middle of the kitchen? If i read your picture correctly, your dining table would be infront of the hood, right?
I havent finalise my design. But my hob will be at the wall of the bathroom. The hood i use same as yours, but i think i wanna hide it with cabinet laugh.gif
And the L shape counter maybe will be slightly longer.

One question for 1209sqft owners....between the front wooden door & grille, there's an open space that can see the neighbour's living room. Did any of u cover it up? (Eg install blinds or grille, or louvers?) .....please share ya.
I thought wanna put grille, but not sure if its allowed.

I saw other unit just grill only.
*
Oh, u mean door grill only?
The side is left open?
I had a look again, if at the side I wanna put louver or grill, I may hv to cut off the red colour railing.

Anyone else with 1209sqft have any idea/suggestion?

Of cuz the yard can fit the washing machine, thats not a problem. I think the problem is the wall on the yards door towards the sink are a little bit too small, not by much.

My cabinet standard size altough customarily made, thats why it oversized a bit towards the yards door. So far not a problem.

And for those who planned to apply for unifi, gotta wait till 1st October only then we can get an update about it. I alrwady went tower twice. From 24th August now october. God knows when it will be.

Hi wan_d7, your yard u put grill or louver or window?

I didn't but I do plan to install a window, when i got some money. 😅

Installing grill only is not worth it, a window make more sense because during windy day it can get bad, so does during the rain. A grill not gonna stop that.
*
Oh ya, I also plan wana install window at my yard. If nothing to shield, nanti my washing machine kena air short circuit oh....

Is your unit 1209sqft? Between your front wooden door & grill, what did u do to the open space? U can see your neighbour living room.

Yeap that's right, the hood will  be in the middle of the kitchen and the dining table in front of the hood.
Haha I see, yours is looking great as well. You render your design using sketch up ? I've only seen 2 places to get their quotes for design and available material. All comes down to price later.
Just cabinet like that without applicants, you're looking at about 13k quote from Ikea. If you want the granite table top finish then it'll be around 18k

Share your costing if you have something good =D
*
My kitchen design is first draft, I cincai do from online app. But I hv paid deposit to ID for kitchen cabinets + hob + hood. Granite top. Rm15k. They will do the final rendering for me later. Will show when I get it.

Finally got the kitchen design and layout. Mine is 1209sqft. Opting for standalone kitchen island. Any suggestions or comments on this?

Looks good. Where is your kitchen hood? On top of island or next to yard door?

Temporarily will cook at the yard. So no hood and hob. But if i were to put it in the future, it will be next to the yard door. Keeping the option open though
*
Eh this is a very good idea cook at yard. I thought of that too, but I see my yard like quite small.... after put washing machine, like got not enough space liao...

Actually I prefer cook at yard, at least wont make the house smell....your cooking spot at yard is facing window or facing wall?

I've measured. It is possible to cook at yard albeit bit cramped. Depends how big is your washing machine. The cooking spot will be facing window in hope to allow smoke to go out effectively. I saw one of the neighbour place their washing machine at the aircond area. Bit strange but quite creative.
*
Wow, I hv never thought of put washing machine at aircond area. Then the aircond compressor put next to washing machine, issit??

The fridge will be placed next the base unit on the left.

For cooking at yard, install a window and put an exhaust fan if needed.
*
Hey u know what, today my contractors went to take some measurements. I was told that we can remove the wall that separates the yard & aircond space. So I guess putting washing machine at aircond area is possible. Just remove the wall.

Hows their pricing? Would you recommend them? Planning to do plaster ceiling as well. Btw my unit is at Lvl 20 Block A. Nice to meet you all.
*
Havent got pricing yet. Just finish measurements last week. Now they are doing design & 3D rendering. I'm doing kitchen cabinets, yard counter, yard window, wardrobes for all rooms, front door grill & side grill (my unit is 1209 sqft, there's an opening at the side of my front door so I grill it shut), 2nd bathroom glass door, plaster ceiling incl lights & fans.
Will share pricing later. I'm block A too.

*
I think the lower levels parking look scary coz its abit dark & empty and I think there are still some unfinished jobs....maybe still some patching up to do here & there.
