exactly! one of the perks of owning an original version of Windows is having updates and complimentary software like Microsoft Security Essentials. it works very well and seamlessly with Windows, extremely low in resources, works invisibly in the background for both anti-virus and anti-malware protection, and has scored well in many synthetic benchmarks.
