Tried to root but I cant tell if it works.

is it a must to do a full wipe out if downgrading from ICS to Gingerbread?

Yes wipe will only wipe your user data in the rom and the 2gb partition.

TB will backup the apps and their data. Contact and SMS can also. But i never try to restore contact through TB before so dunno how well it works. SMS works well.

TB will also backup your wifi passwords and settings and also bluetooth pairing.  Can restore back easily.

Hi guys I wanna ask a question.
If I bought an app from Google Play, and for some reason I need to factory reset or format my phone again.
What will happen to my paid app cause it'll definitely get erased as well.

Can I download it again from the apps store without having to pay for it?
Or the paid app is already saved in my apps list and I can download it back from there without paying??

Just took out my Ultra optics SP out from my white SII. Just realized how awesome my screen is. Super sharp, vibrant and the glossiness makes it so sexy.

But to use titanium backup u need to root rite.
I just got my phone and I'm not confident enough to root it yet

if i m not mistaken u can just access google play on ur pc and select which apps to install from ur apps history... den it will automatically sync with ur phone n auto dl all of it...
i also almost buy 32gb from garage sales too.. but held back cuz RM200+ is quite expensive ma.. den today i window shop around n saw 16gb for only RM89.. my jaw almost fall off..
den i ask the promoter whether they got 32gb or not.. they say they dun carry.. all harvey norman oso dun carry.. =(.. dunno whr to get d.. maybe visit lowyat plaza someday see if any cheap seller..

Guys, any guide in updating my Galaxy S2 non G to 2.3.6 for the moment now...

And one more thing, Why does my phone reacts slowly whenever I turned on Power Saving Mode.

My aunty's one is still smooth as usual when she turns on her Power Saving Mode, she's using G-version.

Power saving mode is actually just a mode where it will dim your brightness, turn off wifi/ (when not connected)gps/bluetooth when it reaches a certain threshold. It actually wastes more battery as it wakes up the phone to check the battery gauge to determine that.

Also, depending on threshold also, frequency might also be limited (in certain ROMs that I know). It's not the case anymore in Ice Cream Sandwich. It was the case back in Gingerbread (one of the ROMs I use, as I remembered).

Yes, I'm using an AP set as well,hmmm...depends on you if you want to update your phone or not, but just be cautious when flashing. It can brick your phone anytime.... Galaxy S2 Non-g is stuck at 2.3.4 at the moment, if you want to go higher, is either ODIN.
Oh really???? The mode I turned on isn't actually threshold mode, it totally turns the damn phone slows. Is like asking the phone to use a single core instead of dual core, that's how I feel lar...but then again, my battery life seems to improve under Power Saving Mode.

that old Atrix is dying, like to hang/overheat even on stock rom

Kingmax i know but i advise you not to buy it as i had bad experience with that blardy sdcard although i used the class 10. Corrupted 3 times without reason.
