QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Feb 19 2014, 02:37 PM) Apply PB-Esso Mobil Visa Gold Credit Card. It's the only PB card with no annual fee. All other cards have conditions: 12 swipes per year, at least one swipe per month. I think PB card is only useful for balance transfer, so this card may suit you. Hi, Do PB-Esso Mobil Visa Gold Credit Card credit card service tax (RM50) is waived for 1st year ?

Anyone has experience with public bank BT? How long does it takes from BT application to the BT approval?

QUOTE(brotan @ Mar 25 2014, 02:25 PM) Just to add to this 1) Personal loan is last choice due to high interest rate 2) Not sure if this is the right term, but in principle you only have 1 BT "account" per bank irrespective how many different cards you have with the same bank suggest that except AEON cc, the rest you BT to Aeon. The amount you owe Aeon i suggest you pay it off with cash then apply other cc for BT purpose. I personally would suggest BSN although they don't have 0% BT because of low min BT amount requirement Is there any early exit fees imposed on the BSN balance transfer programme for 24 months 0.375% (0% for the first 12 months) min RM1,000? If full payment is made on the 12th month, what are the consequences would BSN impose on card holder/ any hidden fees? (~purpose to entitle for 0% interest BT) ;-)

QUOTE(flyingteeku @ Apr 4 2014, 09:55 AM) My income is not high..i think RHB has been over generous, trying to encourage us to spend more. My uob & ocbc & Mbb credit limit half of what was given by RHB. Hi flyingteeku, what type of RHB card do you apply for? Islamic or non-Islamic? Any speciality of this card besides fast BT?

HSBC Balance Transfer: "Plan A: 3% interest in 1st month from the application approval date on the Balance Transfer Amount and thereafter, 0% interest for the next 5 months"
Anybody can explain what does this means? 3% interest is on the full BT amount OR 3% is just on the 1st month instalment payment only? :-)

Dont understand why they take so long, as i dont think they are processing HIGH volume of card application right? Try follow up with them..And check your application status, 2 weeks you should be able to know whether your card application is approved or not..

QUOTE(hkboey @ Apr 23 2014, 02:38 PM) Thanks! Yes, I am lazy to search so I ask. I ask better than I know nothing. Everyday in the forum, many ppl are asking questions that are already been answered. I guess you must be busy doing this. The spoiler are nice, maybe next time can try a longer one! Oh ya, thanks too! After some clicking exercise, I get the answer from your spoiler too. Another lazy question here..lol Which aeon credit card entitled for the AEON point/cashback when do BT? Does it mean e.g. BT RM5000=5000 aeon points?? As I know, BT are not calculated for any cashback as stated in their aeon website..

LOL. Not that im complaining la, just that i have to pay before i can use the card Oh yeah , the credit limit give was only 30k, quite low Congratz on maxing out your credit limit! How do you max you credit limit as the Public Bank only allows 80% from credit limit as BT?

QUOTE(vincentwmh @ May 19 2014, 02:06 PM) bearbear, thanks for clarification. i thought u guys has come out a better way. Yes, that's the method i am using. 1) on yearly basis, i pre-arrange all my&wifey+parents ins premiums (personal&HP) on auto-debit(s) same month, all to a CC card. 2)then always have my direct access or rhb ready for BT. 3)dump the PRE-12-months ALLOCATED premium monies to FD; and 4)pay 0%-6mth BT. so far benefited from this own designed cash-flow since 2009 (pre-planned&timed CC auto-debit since 2008 tho) For BT user(s), its free gain with just a min effort in cash-flow management. Your direct access or rhb ready for BT is always 0%-6mth BT?

QUOTE(vincentwmh @ May 19 2014, 03:14 PM) yup, for the last 7yrs, i only missed 1yr where both bank not offering that time. my BT month is always on Mar yearly. normally, both DA & RHB will have this 6mth-0%. if not at least one of them will have. Thanks.. Very good planning of you to fall your BT on March; as I think normally bank BT-0% promo normally falls on the early quarter of the year.. Too bad..most of my insurance normally falling at End of the yr.. This post has been edited by leo_kiatez: May 19 2014, 05:00 PM

Anyone has tried before BSN BT 12mths(First 6-mths 0%) or 24mths(First 12-mths 0%); Any comments? From their BSN website BT FAQ, it seems that NO Early Settlement Fee for BT, How true is that anyone can confirm? "9. Is there any exit fee charged for CardMembers who opt for early settlement at any time? No fee will be charged, however the whole balance of the installment amount which includes the outstanding principal and interest/facility fees will be charged to the CardMember’s account."Below is the FAQ link: http://www.mybsn.com.my/formdownload?formDownloadId=228This post has been edited by leo_kiatez: May 19 2014, 05:05 PM

QUOTE(ronnie @ May 23 2014, 02:41 PM) Do we need to attach the CC statement with PBB Balance Transfer form ? From the application form, it didn't require it. No need. You are free to go with just BT form!!
