X360 current heavily rely on XBLA exclusives. MS 2010-2012 lineup of games are mostly XBLA.
Heck this year 2012, lineup are 6 XBLA and 2 retail exclusives.
Xbox 360 or PS3 ?

Addon:-
PS3 Good: - good independent system for non gaming functions (if you dont have a PC) - non-dependent on 1 party hardware, aka support 3rd party or clone hardware. bad: - lots of gimmick accessories and games that require you to purchase a certain hardware to play. - most of old ported titles that are sold at $30-40. x360: - heavily rely on xbl for social network and gaming services - plug and play for games and network devices. - slightly better designed GPU, Multiplaform games usually scores well in this version. bad: -just another gaming platform, does not excel in anything else. -only support 1st party devices and most of the connectors are unique (custom connectors) and some hardware is freaking expensive in MY. QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Jun 29 2012, 10:32 AM) I actually see this as a bad. Heck, even Valve sees this as bad and why their friendship with MS went sour. Some ppl like it some dont. Mostly casuals like it, cos it integrate well for XBLA games and 1st party game.MGS and valve are always sour, they never once collaborated with both interest in-mind. L4d was pretty much the pitfall for valve release for that platform. I m not really sure MGS deny licensing to valve as rumor stated it? all i know MGS is really b****y for 3rd party developers. |

QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Jun 29 2012, 08:15 PM) Well, I don't like it because of the old problem of no official Malaysia support. I've heard all sort of stupid stories ranging from Piracy to corporate infighting, and frankly I'm tired of it. Even Apple can sell music and movies in Malaysia now. Why can't MS just launch XBL in Malaysia and get it over with?!? well it depends on xbl sg. Ya i would want to bother you with MS SG politics either. |
