(1) It's going to be a pleasure to meet someone who is conducting a research on the Origin of Ancient Human Civilizations at the PhD level. The problem arises in your research when we see agency that doesn't exist. Not only do we see agency in how individual object behaves, but we also see agency collectively behind events. Maybe it will surprise you to notice that this leads to conspiracy thinking.

(2) Now we're going to tie in Pattern Recognition and Agency Detection. When we see a pattern that we think it can't be a coincidence, these separate things could not of all happened by coincidence alone. The patterns seem too compelling because we making a lot of logical fallacies. We're underestimating how often such pattern should emerge by chance alone.

(3) Then, we further assume that, if there is a pattern, there must be an agent behind that pattern. There must be a CONSPIRACY. There are some organization or some power, or perhaps even there might be some magical agent at work, or some force of nature that are making things happened the way they are, because otherwise, we wouldn't see these patterns.

(4) And I want you to notice something that's happening to you. There is a psychological phenomenon known as Pareidolia, which is a tendency to see a pattern in random stimulus. The brain sees pattern to fit the stimuli, as the brain is constructing what we think, see, and remember. It also trying to make a pattern that fits patterns that we are familiar with. One of the interest things I'd like you to discover is that, once that happens, it's very difficult to “un-see” it, as you now no longer not see the pattern that your brain has clicked in the place.

Ultimately, the philosophical question in your research might look like this: “What does it mean to know the Conspiracy Theories of Ancient Human Civilizations?”
