anyone tried expedia.com.my before?

i found it while surfing for hotel booking in bangkok.
on the website it says that they are the only online travel agent that offers airasia flights.

i compared the flight tickets fm pg to bkk return and the price is the same at airasia website & expedia.
what i am more interested is the hotels package price ( when book together with flight ), i found that the hotels are cheaper than agoda or booking.com.

but i want to know have anyone tried expedia.com.my? is it safe?

i have the same question in my mind too.. but do not know how reliable it is

use once to book flight + acc during my recent trip to kansai.. i would recomend if you want to book flight + acc because they got quite good offer if buy both.. got mine for only rm800 for return tix to osaka plus 4nite accomodation in osaka..

Regarding Expedia.I only book hotels from them.Twice I should say.Very reliable service.Didnt have any experience booking flights.My bad.

juz an update...

tried to book hotel & flight juz now with a package abt $6.3k.
the transaction didn't go thru but my credit card co informed me that $2.8k alredi been charged & approved.
called up expedia and they adv that the transaction was not successful ( not sure y ) & they not sure y i was charged $2.8k. they adv me that if i was truly charged the $2.8k, it will be returned into my a/c in the next 3 days.
1st time tried expedia, leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
now i worry if they will charge me the rest of the amount as my credit card bank say that they will not be able to block expedia since i gv them my approval for the transaction.....sigh!!!!

I've used Expedia before and i did not face any problem. Definitely a very reliable site. Expedia USA is one of the largest online travel agency and Expedia MY is their sister site. So you guys do not have to worry about anything

I booked with expedia twice. reliable onlice service.
but mayb u can make a comparison with AA.
Agoda is always much more expensive if compare with expedia & AA(based on my experience)

I just made booking via Expedia.com.my for return flight (AirAsia) to Bangkok. When filling up the online booking form, we are required to specify Last Name, Middle Name & Family/Surname.

However when I checked AirAsia website on my confirmed booking, I noticed ALL 5-passengers Middle Name is missing - only Surname + Last Name appeared in the Travel Itenary. Will this pose any problem during check-in? Thanks.

You were supposed to fill your name only in the First and Last Name Column.

Anyhow, i'm not sure if this would pose a problem though. But is one character in your name is missing now in your Air Asia ticket ? If it is missing, then i'm afraid yes, it will be a problem.

i booked hotels twice through expedia and they did not dissapoint. Both hotels had the record and I had no problem checking-in. Their expedia apps also is very nice. It will have the hotel information and your booking information. Even have directions to the hotel in google map.

However to be safe, always call the hotel few days in advance to make sure they have your records and are ready to accept you to check-in. You can also tell them if you will be checking in late due to late flight and so on.

Air Asia Go is using Expedia as their hotel agent so what Air Asia Go has is actually from Expedia's website.
