My niece's Nintendo DSi XL was sent to a repair shop, and they said the motherboard is broken but couldn't find a replacement. I'm currently not in the same area and was wondering where a good place to get it repaired might be. Any tips on avoiding scams when getting it fixed?

The only person that are really expert in Nintendo fixing is rocket_jet. Go see if they can help you brother.
Give it a try and see if they can fix. I got my Nds lite fixed in their shop. So far so good!

PSA: Before getting in touch with rocket_jet read this thread first.

I've no interest in the ongoing dispute/case nor do I know both forummers in real life. Just read the post and then reconsider before going to play time.

Hope this helps.
