Guys, Can i have a proper guide for V6 Supercharger? I can't seem to get it working. I'm using Busybox 1.18.4 as that's the lowest version. I can't seem to find the init.d .

Will charging the battery at 60% like that kill the battery span?

QUOTE(Amroth @ Mar 18 2012, 01:46 PM) I tested both, the europe XXLB4 seems more stable than the asian DXKJ5. Use ODIN and flash it back to stock rom. I'm using DXKL1 , and it is really smooth on 8xx MHz. Any diff with the DXKJ5? Battery wise, normal like when i first bought it. But one thing i noticed is, everytime you reboot your phone, you'll have to enable V6 Supercharger again? |

QUOTE(wcypierre @ Mar 18 2012, 03:07 PM) From what I had read, NO, and its recommended if you do so(since nowadays we use lithium ion batteries and not nicd battery or any those batteries that has "memory" effect). Charging at 10% is said to have adverse effects on the life span. Oh . Didn't know that p/s: I am not a chemical engineer so I cannot verify on this point but that's what I got from what I had read. |

QUOTE(justnits @ Mar 19 2012, 07:52 PM) hmm, my phone updates when i connect to kies today...how long ago was this update? lol! 90% updating Wow. Thanks for the useful information! Added on March 19, 2012, 8:06 pm no, in fact, keep your battery charged above at least 50% at all times to prolong the lifespan, don't keep it below 20-30% charge for a long period of time. what most (if not all) handphone dealers will tell u the usual stuff, charge 8 hours before using, bla bla bla, use until 1% then only charge, bla bla bla. those are ONLY applicable to the older battery type (nicads or whatever) though, for lithium batteries, heat is bad, so charging and using phone (playing games, surfing with 3G or wifi) generates a lot of heat on the battery. so do charge it in a ventilated area. some easier info to digest if batteryuniversity.com's article is too much to mouth. http://osxreality.com/2009/07/18/4-tips-to...m-battery-life/ |

After update to 2.3.6 , is there a root? Worried can't flash to other roms xD .
Btw, using hybrid rom in XDA. Ram everytime only free 110 like that but when I play Temple Run with 7xx mhZ , super smooth . No doubt the angry bird space. Any reason why compared to stock rom it's much smoother? No V6 supercharger |

Hey guys, I still can't seem to update my firmware. It keeps getting Operation fail or Unknown error has occurred.
Is there anyway i can revert my CWM recovery to Stock Recovery so i can update using the phone itself? Thanks alot. |

QUOTE(lokety @ Apr 9 2012, 09:19 AM) I just did it recently on my rooted stock ROM. There seems to be 2 ways to get that I8150DXLC1 update, so try the first before the second. Thanks for the help bro. Finally a reply! Short Way: 1. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...835&postcount=3 and download the Odin Multi Downloader, Ancora.ops and Stock Recovery links. 2. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1317394 and download the unroot.zip file. Place it in your SD card root path. 3. Boot to download mode in your phone and flash the stock recovery, replacing CWM recovery. 4. Reboot to stock recovery and flash the unroot.zip file. Your phone should now be unrooted with stock recovery. 5. Reboot normal and download the new firmware update. 6. The update process will reboot the phone and flash the update. It may fail at around 22% in a blue screen and give an error "phone verify fail", and if so, try the next steps. Long Way: 1. Make a nandroid backup using CWM recovery. 2. Go to http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I8150 and download the firmware update, preferably the XME region, which is Malaysia. 3. Boot to download mode and flash the above update using Odin. 4. Reboot normal and check that phone is updated to I8150DXLC1. 5. Reboot to CWM recovery and do advanced restore of data only. 6. Reboot normal and check that your data and apps are restored. Hope this helps. |

I wonder why people here complain so much, it's a planned maintenance/upgrading work just for short period. Yeap GW is TFT . Added on April 11, 2012, 4:18 pm I want to knowe too....especially the screen quality. GW is TFT rite? 1V is super LCD i think? |
