Hi all. I want to help my friend to root his Galaxy W. His phone is running 2.3.6 baseband DXKL1. Build number is GINGERBREAD.DXLA2. Which is a correct way to root? This method from XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1317394 says that it doesn't work with LA2 firmware. Any working root method? Thanks!

Can I flash it with stock recovery or must I flash CWM Recovery and use that to flash the ROM? Thanks! |
