QUOTE(wcypierre @ Mar 18 2012, 03:28 PM) yeah. you can read the articles with some simple googling. yep, NiCd is old generation liao. Lithium is the new way to go~ Phones nowadays ARE equipped with lithium batteries. Only those old old old school ones are using nicd I think(or maybe not, not sure, never own those old school phones before). http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_w_i8150-4114.php // Standard battery, Li-Ion 1500 mAh Li is Lithium, you can check the periodic table if you don't trust me(its one of the first few elements) |

QUOTE(2kia @ Mar 20 2012, 03:26 AM) hello guys nope, but there will be a some sort of value pack upgrade for sgw, like unlocking some of the ics features in gingerbeard, i read it somewhere from internet. google it if you want to read it.my bro needs a new phone n he's new to smartphones n i figured galaxy w would be a great choice considering it's in the mid range that would not be outdated so fast i have a ques though, would samsung release ics officially for the gws? |

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Apr 7 2012, 06:35 PM) Erm... W is not even close to be on par with One X (Pentacore), Sensation, Note, Nexus(Dual core)... actually IINM, ICS is designed with dual-core phones in mind. ICS will be fully utilizing the dual-ore (or even more) advantage so single-core maybe, need to tweak here and there xD. So don't be disappointed if your single-core phone is not getting ICS, as technology moves along very fast and soon SGW will become another legacy. All those single core won't get update so soon. (But W is never get update |
