Thanks for the recommendation. I have placed an order with the seller yesterday.  smile.gif

I have temporarily stopped using my Wonder. The battery is getting over swollen until I find it difficult to close the back cover properly. Worried it might explode any time if I am still using it.  ohmy.gif

Not sure if the just launched S3 mini is a good upgrade.  hmm.gif

Don't get me wrong. I'm still wondering why there some user are facing 'swollen' battery? Even my office kolik (SGW user) have same problem. Izzit because of the batteries or the charger itself. I have the feeling that the culprit is the defected batteries.

usb charging is the culprit  and car charger also (heats up the battery too fast).  power bank i'm not sure. battery defect cannot be sure.

anyway guys, how long can the phone go on a full charge?

mine is ~ 10 hrs 20 mins on 3g + bluetooth - light browsing, messenger, google currents and short calls.
*
I charge using USB almost on daily basis. Sometime up to 2 hours (top up charging). But rarely charge using car charger unless I need to use the gps. But only occasionaly I use it (surfing, games or video) while charging (usb or ori charger)

What we could do is to share infos. Those who are affected by swollen battery could kindly list out their routine. What kind of charger used, charging period and etc etc. From there we could narrow it down what caused it.

Stock ROM or Custom ROM?
*
Stock rom but rooted. The other thing is, there is a secutity warning whenever I try to access play store website. No problem on other website. I'm using built in browser. I reset everything to default setting. Hard reboot. The only thing that I did not do yet is to reset the phone.

Dafuq!. I almost reset my phone because Google Play have no connection. Spent hours looking for answers . Tried and followed advises. Luckily found the answer. The answer is soo simple that make you wanna bang your head if I already reset my phone. It was due to the phone DATE. The date have mysteriously back dated 1 month. My phone sometime have bad habit changing the clock by it own and usually I noticed it. Today the month got changed but still mantaining correct time.

Did you connect the phone to PC and perform any sync or backup before this?
*
I sync on daily basis via wifi or 3G. Connect to PC only for charging or transfer files (usb mode only) No Kies.

tongue.gif  well for now i need to solve my battery problem first. i wonder if galaxy w can support higher capacity battery. all i see is around 1800-2000mah for galaxy w, haiz, dont know enuf for my one day usage or not. i am heavy user ><
*
For smartphone, you can't do really nothing about the battery drainage if you are a heavy user. I'm not a heavy user, but by noon my battery have only about 50% left. Now that I have galaxy tab 7.7 to do all those internet and wifi thingy, my W will last more than 2 days with a single charge.

For heavy usage, either you bring along portable charger or you sit next to power plug or PC. High capacity battery can only do I guess about 10 to 20% more than standard battery.

Sony have powerbank as an accessories. Maybe it is safer if you buy a branded model like Sony. Not sure others have it or not

on the upper right of my screen rise up a bit and cause dust to enter into the phone on the camera there. Anyone hav this problem? Im on a 18month SME warranty, can i take it to claim?
fyi, 1 yr old phone currently using sungloble batt and flash into CM9 Beta3.
*
Are you sure the screen raised? It seems that your screen doesn't fitted properly. Don't know whether it was a manufacturing defect or the phone screen was replaced. Compared to mine, ithe screen should be flush with the casing (not raised) and there should be no gap between screen and casing. You might wanna try send it for waranty claim but I think you have to flashed it back to ori ginal rom etc.
