TS, what camera r u using now? If ur a DSLR user shifting to micro 4/3 waters, r u those that expect its image quality to b similar to DSLR? If u r, best u head straight for em-5. While the ep3 is a darn good micro4/3 cam, it uses the older ep1 sensor thus ISO tolerance isn't that good. U will notice a vast difference if u were a DSLR user.
Just me 2 cents. But I've moved fr Nikon d90 to ep3 but sold off the ep3 to move back to DSLR.

Even OMD EM-5 isn't really DSLR level. But micro 4/3 isn't about beating the DSLR market. It's smaller, lighter and way more convenient. If ure a person willing to accept some draw backs in IQ and ISO tolerance compared to a DSLR to gain this set of convenience, then micro 4/3 is alluring. If ure entering the field with the thinking that each shot u make will b compared to a DSLR, then don't. Both are a class of their own.

If uve got the dough, get the OM-D. Definitely no regrets with respect to the EP3.
