I wonder if this is a fake VFF where local distributor decide to rebrand it as "Sepato". There is an old malay word 'Sepatu' which also means shoe. At least seller did not try to dupe people by claiming this as a minimalist running shoe.

I own dual fusion but I think different series cause looks different from the pics. Mine has waffle sole but the upper part is a bit thick, not the breathable type material. I only use it for runs below 10k cause I find it a bit on the heavy side. But other than that it should serve the purpose for running. Make sure you do a few short runs in them before using it for any races. I had blisters underneath my feet when use it the first few 10k runs which does not happen for other new shoes that I had used. But after that no more blisters.

Bought mine for RM80 during a Bata sale last year. How much did you bought yours?

wow, RM80 only, i bought this for RM259.00 in local nike shop, so did you mean this shoe only can run below 10kilometers?
*
Checked and actually mine is Dual Fusion ST and not TR like to one you bought. It's a stability shoe. Yes, RM80, last pair when Bata was having sale to get rid of their old stock of shoes. The actual price on the box stated about the same price as yours.
It doesn't mean you can only run below 10km with this. It's just that I have another shoe, Mizuno that is slightly lighter and more comfortable than this. So I prefer to use that shoe for longer distance.
However, my last race, Newton New Year 12km (actual was under distance), I did manage to dip below 6 mins/km using this Nike shoe whereas yet to do so for other races before that.
So just try it out and find out how it fits you.

6 min pace @ 190bpm ? Hmm... need more training I guess... nvm, slow2 la...

Wonder if it is safe to run with 190-200BPM or above? Whenever my HB went to that range, I would immediately slow my pace a bit. Scared of cardiac arrest. Even fit sportsmen still can suffer from it (recently a BPL player) what more someone like me.

If I were you, will stay clear of both hotels. Heard numerous stories from those who had experienced that these hotels are haunted.

Wow, here really got a lot of expert!! Happy about that, by the way may I ask where can I buy the Asics Running Shoes?? I`m interested to buy the Nimbus, just now go to Time Square, got anything other place?? smile.gif

There's a shop selling sporting goods opposite BB Plaza building, same row with KFC, which is having a closing down sale. I went there a couple of months back before they had that sale and they do sell Asics running shoes. However, not sure if Nimbus is available.

Another option is to go to BB Plaza, there is a shop owned by a bald Malay pakcik who is willing to sell shoes below the stated price. Use your bargain skills to get a good price.
