yea...extended ending...

i think Bioware planned story dlc release bundled together with MP dlc, but those plan was scrapped to do Extended Ending DLC first.

that's why we got MP DLC only at the moment, hopefully it'll be free again. it's a win-win situation for us.

Don't think it's extended "ending", but a full gameplay.nod.gif

Let me explain: (spoiler prone explanation)

Anyways hope this theory is correct, because a DLC with just an alternate and longer cutscene is pretty hopeless.

BIOWARE for certain have this planned even before this sequel was published. Their money milking nature single-handedly added more sense to this speculation as why the DLC in the coming summer could be a gameplay, they want us to spend more money to finish this great saga.
In Hollywood, 'making viewers believe in bad ending then surprise them that ending isn't real and give them a great ending' is and old formula... ironically for gamer, hope this is true because I gathered that everyone believes that the storyline of the game is only 85% complete.

And I want to fight Harbinger! mad.gif

Yo dude, I think your theory might be correct, and it's awesome but.........I didn't choose the 'Destruction Choice' So I am not very sure about it...anyway I have a question: What do you mean by 'And the dialogues, why is Shepard so agreeable?' Please respond biggrin.gif
*
I finished ME3 two days ago and I remembered Shepard is soo trusty and his dialogue options doesn't have any 'renegade' nature to it, as if he doesn't have a free will. And the same kid who appears in Shepard's nightmare to appear at this crucial point is a tad suspicious, some say Shepard is agreeable because he is talking to a kid that he wished to save and put all trust into him, (and this kid only appears in dreams which could make this whole event a "dream") if the indoctrination theory applies here, the Reaper foresee this and uses the kid to lead Shepard into the abyss.

The last bit of this game has handful of subtle hints, and it really easy to miss them in an action game where almost everything is spoofed and direct.
But Bioware DID spoonfeed gamers here, but I don't get why the cries and noise made by fans:

ULTIMATE SPOILER OF ALL, open at your discretion:

And cummon, I personally don't believe this game REALLY ends like this. I've seen many times games, movies and any media use this 'false bad ending' formula.
From their past games, I don't think BIOWARE will make such an "ending" to their flagship game. They got things schemed, that includes of money making...but as for Mass Effect Saga, this is a good thing.

Ok, I'll just say it out of the blue, the DLC will resume where Shepard was about to get to the Beam, when/if he pass the 'Indoctrination test' in this purgatory like dream that took place in the Cidatel.

whaa...You guys still believe in Indoctrination Theory? Bioware flat out denied about it.

I've got to admit, it might've been planned. But it seems to me that they intend to keep the ending the way it is. So....yeah.

Even putting these theories asides, from a marketing staindpoint it really looks like they, Bioware, would provide with the proper ending gameplay in a DLC format.

I don't want to be hopeful, but as a big gaming company that produced such good storyline in games before, this so called "3-choice" ending doesn't fit their style.
Yes they replaced the team of writers who worked on DA, previous ME's and now StarWars: TOR with a new writing team but certainly after a good spell in about 95% of ME3 stroryline, this bad ending scheme seems like a marketing deliberation. hmm.gif

So if Bioware does produce the extended gameplay in Summer, then rejoice, if just couple of fan-demanded happy/better and longer cutscenes then so be it.

shepard is only alive from red/destroy ending if you got enough of your military strength...
the green/synthesis ending didn't depend on TMS, it is the same no matter what...

Here, you don't need any theories to prove the "ending" is permanent, when Shepard is alive (in the short cutscene at the end you can see Shep gasping for air) so should the fight.
So, it would be a longshot that this 3rd Saga stops here; too many things still needs closure. I'm certain there will be MASS EFFECT 3.5 lol

I don't know about you guys, but is okay to remain positive until Bioware does really screw up on their behalf, then rage is justified laugh.gif

here is the latest news about the extended ending: http://kotaku.com/5911864/heres-three-peop...extended-ending

So i'm pretty sure at this point it'll only be cutscenes.

TBH, i don't think they really need to put any voices in the extended ending.
Just play the scenes of all those characters doing something with music should be enough for me, kinda like ME2.
*
Extending the branch of the 3 endings is a good idea, what get's to some people's nerve is that fanboys demand more ending alternatives, yes the are correct to say their choices throughout the game should deem to having different outcome...but the game if it is true a finish product, then we should accept it and let Bioware provide more depth into the endings.

But still, the 'Shepard Alive' cutscene somewhat is a loop hole. Imagine if say, Shep got thrown out of the Citadel from the explosion, which is about half of the moon's distance away from earth, the entry into the atmosphere should burn him to crisp.
And the rubble really looks like London lol.
It puzzles me why Shepard's voice actor isn't recalled back for the extended cutscene voice acting seems that he 'lives' in the 'Destruction ending'? Unless they have recorded it before and have other plans installed.

I think it's alright to be a little hopeful, nothing to loose anyways nod.gif

Maybe they will come out with Mass Effect 4:The Legacy where all the aliens meet again {Since the mass relays was destroyed}  icon_rolleyes.gif

lol, well in the game it explained that without the Mass Relay, alien encounters would take up to thousands of years laugh.gif
