Yes why not. Custom roms are deodexed anyway. Just make full wipe.

No. Best backup for those files is copy to your pc.

Frankly you won't notice much diff between ics and gb. One major thing you may notice is the scrolling which might not be to your liking.

If you are using fully stock rom there are almost no bug. Most bugs comes from theming and intergrating aosp apks in the roms.

Thebyani sms app is not samsung sms app. Its aosp like those on cm9 thats why its different.

You can try flashing without wipe and see if got FC. If no problem then just use as normal.

I think it depends on some test apk and stuff the chef takes out. *#1234# and *#9900# does not work on turkbey and wanam i think but it works on thebyani and andyx. Cannot really remember but basically works on some but dun work on others.

But just to report, touch is better and screen was even brighter with siyah ics beta 1. back to cfroot while gokhan fixes sod.

Use cf root kernel 5.4. It fixes the sdcard issue. Other kernel need to unmount sd card before restore.

Ics rom lp7 not much choice. Dunno why most chef wanna stick with lpq. But thebyani is really not bad. extremely stable.
