How to clean your Redline air filter

Cleaning my Redline performance filter which I use for 3000KM mileage. You are recommended to clean about 5000KM~8000KM mileage usage.

1. Stand by water and air filter.


2. Put some soap, light soap for kitchen use or car wash use will do. Bubble ready


3. Put in air filter for cleaning


4. Slowly shake, take it in and out about 5~10min. Now you can see the water color become dark. Use only 3000KM and you can see this filter really can filter dust.


5. Take out the filter and clean with plain water. Do not use high pressure water shoot at it.


6. OK, now leave it some way to dry naturedly.

To be hornets, haven't got change to see it physically.

as info showing Myvi 1.5 and Alza using the same engine, assuming they should use the same design of Air intake compartment. many others told me same also
