Two days already on Midnote 3. Very happy with it. Unlike some users at XDA I do not faced those problems. Many users I find take shortcut installing causing those problems. When the developer instructions is so clear yet they think they are smarter and decide to do it their way. And then start asking questions why cannot be done their way ?
Example they ask do they need wipe, can they just install ontop over v2.0, what GB rom to use , etc - all these questions need not even asked as obviously they don't even read developer posting first
I see same scenario of some users here asking about how to flash certain roms when all the answers are always in the developer post #1 and they never bother to read. Whenever I want to flash any new stuffs I will take time to read through all the postings - yes it takes time but is worth it. I hate to look stupid asking questions when the answers are already there
I suggest you read his post # 1 thoroughly and follow his given steps strictly - do not skip any steps and at least read the last 10 pages of all the postings to get a feel of other users opinion and issues they faced

I never use stock mail as so limited with features
Suggest you try freemail app K9 Mail . It has more features, too long to list here but major points:
- you can setup multiple email accounts
- you can select to view all mails together of all the accounts or see it separately
- you can set display features : font sizes in practically every aspect of your mail fro TO header right to message body
- you can set mail to remain on server after download
- you can set mail to be deleted on server after download
- you cans et mail to be deleted on phone if mails deleted on server
- you can set time from checking mail every one minute, 5 min, 10 min up to several hours - all up to you
- you can set size of each email download
= etc plus many many more

Yes it is stored, You can define download size of mail up to 10 Mb or even any size

Like i said you can set no limit - it will be fully downloaded. Yes 10 MB per email. Not too sure about size for the free app. I am using the paid version Kaiten Mail. However all the features I mentioned is in the free app

To test . Launch Maps. make sure you do not select GPS on - skip it
Locate your position - it should work with your 3G on

Google Navigation only in USA and certain European countries. NONE at all in Asia
You can use BRUT version than can use it

Probably your midnote3 file incomplete download. Check whether you can successfully extract in pc

Try flash again

No need cos you are flashing a prerooted rom

It is volume up+home+power boot to recovery
Than select reset or clear data

Take off battery. Boot to recovery n restore back your previous rom. Before RESTORE flash abyss kernel 3.9 first. After flash do not reset phone as your phone will hang. Instead go to advanced select reboot recovery. You will see hyperdroid redpill recovery shown. Select restore your backup
And I hope you have make a backup first
If you didn't flash back any gb rom from your ext sd ccard
Than try again

You didn't have any restore made? If you have try restoring it. If you want to flash another gb rom flash it with abyss kernel

Lesson no 1 : always have a backup made before attempting to flash any new rom ESP if it is ICS. Accidents can happen anytime
There is only one abyss 3.9 kernel download from xda or at midnote LINK
and countercheck whether the prerooted rom you flash has full root. Test it by using root explorer - as long as you can delete any system file ( choose say any sound or picture file) n you can copy a file to the system folder than you have full root
