Dry Hippo collects water and after it expires, it becomes wet hippo that i would assume is bad for your lens.
Anyone show Eureka Dry box before? I saw in a shop in KL festival City. Rm330 for 40L with 5 years warranty.

Thinking either this or octupus already.  icon_rolleyes.gif

No need. Just get an airtight container and buy a dehumidifier (can get from supermarket) and put in. Change the dehumidifier if it gets wet.

It could be that your house is not that dusty/air conditioned.
Or you use the camera occasionally/frequently.
Or perhaps you’re just lucky.

I’ve fungus on an old second hand tamron lens before.
Left it in a box. Untouched for years.
