lack of spirit build up = lack of things you can do.

hence you will just be running around picking loots until boss fights lol

and yea, about mantras, i havent gotten any yet so i wont comment, but your blinding flash do require spirit power, and have a lengthy cooldown to it. if i/my party are not swarmed by enemies i would definitely not use it lol.

and its too early to speculate, if you ask me, considering the similarities to rogue in WoW, monk would suck hard on inferno. being a toufu melee and all unless you spec into defensive skills/stats/runes/gear lol

with all that said, they are the guys you want to have in boss fights/dps
like on leoric, he dash to my party wizz/dh, i just teleport to his face and auto root him lol. so he only can fight me. and i have blinding flash/potion/run around if im getting low. if you have a barbie in coop, he would be tanking instead

im on 5mbit unifi, no idea on bw requirement.

available once you reach the level. automatically all skills available, however additional levels (or other requirements?) required for rune customization.

pvp not available, no one can comment. i was referring to coop, where you play with other friends, and they WILL do more pew pew than your monk

not sure on how the looting system works entirely nor i care at this point lol

because you're reliant on spirit energy which is generated from your normal melee. if shit are dying before you reach them, or if you only can hit minimal amount (unable to perform a full combo chain) and they die, you cant get much spirit energy. and without spirit energy, you cant execute a good chunk of your skill sets lol.

and yea, before you're melee you take time to get to your target while range just pew pew. barbarian got a lot of skills for close ins, and they do not rely on combo'ing enemies for their fury. their ONLY down side is that fury depletes over time if you're no longer in combat, but that only encourages the barbarian to keep rushing/charging

the biggest problem of all is still the combo'ing and less spirit generation when not performing full combos

im sticking with monk cuz thats the playstyle i love. i've been with my rogue for over 5 years in world of warcraft, no harm going with an "improved" monk

casters arent like what it used to back then, its very gear dependent as much as melee/physical classes are. blizzard is letting spells rely on weapon damage now ROFL!
