QUOTE(meeninme @ Mar 20 2012, 06:40 PM) Just got back from the service center at Skudai Parade. I just got to know that I will getting my tablet within this week, they replace the main logical board of the tablet They informed me earlier the parts have arrived. To recall, my tab was creaking bad at the side. They had to replace two parts, the LCD panel and the plastic bezel (got damage from manufacturing). Quiet relieved it will be OK soon. Those who are scared to send in theirs, you don't have to. We paid premium for this tablet, so we should get the best out of it. |

QUOTE(meeninme @ Mar 22 2012, 12:26 PM) What's that app for viewing online local newspaper? So nice.. i haven't get my Tablet yet, despite the same service center...Nway, collected my Prime d. Got new panel, any no creaks now. People at service center know how to do their job. Especially new product such as this one. Added on March 23, 2012, 9:17 am QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Mar 22 2012, 01:33 PM) you already upgraded to ics? Ya My Galaxy S, using ICS.because after the upgrade, you no longer able to connect to wifi adhoc connection which is via your smartphone. Try not to create adhoc connection, use WPA instead or a Hotspot This post has been edited by ryanlaw.cs: Mar 23 2012, 09:17 AM |

QUOTE(meeninme @ Mar 23 2012, 09:33 AM) So you're the other one who sent in the tablet. Ya. I am sure that is my unit. Good to hear that I asked about the tablet at the counter, but she said two of them are inside. Had to give her my service number. Patience my friend, the tab is in good hands. If the mobo spare part was shipped together with your screen panel, i guess i can get my tablet back very soon Added on March 23, 2012, 10:32 am QUOTE(leechomin @ Mar 23 2012, 09:44 AM) Can everyone share about their charging habits here? For example, do you drain your tablet till 50% only and then recharge it to 100%. DO you leave your charger connected after it reaches 100%, etc etc. Do you drain your dock's battery everyday. etc etc Normally I charge when I can. follow my smartphone charging habits. This post has been edited by ryanlaw.cs: Mar 23 2012, 10:32 AM |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Mar 26 2012, 10:27 PM) But then again SG people prefer the apple brand. Anywhere anyplace you can see apple products in SG. you know why... because those Telco in SG giving out frees or sell it at very damm low price after sign up with inexpensive contract plan... so most Singaporean there uses iPhone =.="Added on March 27, 2012, 3:36 pm QUOTE(ryanlaw.cs @ Mar 27 2012, 03:21 PM) though is Dual-core, but it build on smaller 28nm size... and perhaps performs very well under Single Threaded tasks, due to the high clock speed on each core. and forgot to put this.... http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/27/htc-one...ost-impressive/While Tegra 3 have some advantages on heavily threaded tasks. the Benchmark is out there for quite some time already... QUOTE(stormlcc @ Mar 27 2012, 05:01 PM) SG ppl started converting to android phones already, most of them changed from iphones to samsung especially the Note. U know y? because SG ppl really kiasu Converting to android, ya... especially Galaxy S2 more and more people using it. Else before that, SG street full of iPhone 4 and benchmark scores doesn't really mean anything, real world usage is more important. plus, the 1x is a phone, it can't be compared to a tablet, if want to compare these 2 totally different things for real world usage then the 1X will only win in 1 aspect, it's phone functions, other than that, it is utterly useless compared to the Prime. ya, you're right, still need to wait an actual S4 powered Tablet. Benchmark it only able to show its raw power. in term of real world usage, we might hardly see the different. |
