Yup, and hooked it up to the HDTV.
One thing I found that the only way to view the subtitles on a TV using HDMI:
Use BS player and set the playback preferences to software encoding. biggrin.gif
Any alternative solution is gladly welcomed.

Hmmm. good to know that there is a possible solution on this issue.

Getting a good microSD is one thing, getting a good and reliable card reader is another thing. My microSD always got corrupted when I do files transfer. Sometimes when I see my transfer is stuck, I know it is time to format the card. Piss with low quality card reader. Anyone know where I can get a dedicated microSD card reader in Penang?

now how much Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 in malaysia?

Official price is RM 2199 with the dock. There are some shops here mark up the price though cause the demand outweigh supply.

Mine also C10KAS.

My GPS never work, but to be honest, I never need to use it. I already have a dedicated GPS navigation and iPhone if I don't have it with me.

Wifi speed is ok ok I think. So far I dont get disconnection and rendering speed depends on website.

My main usage is reading manga and watching movie and anime. This beast saves my hassle to convert videos and I already got the feeling that I cannot part with it. Too convenient to let go.

What I observe here is some people is being too paranoia or perfectionist. Complain and only look at the negative side.

On a side note, which browser you guys mainly use? I am using ICS+ since I like their lab feature. However I noticed it rendered quite slowly on XDA website.

bias in my opinion. they made it look like iPad received a smaller loss point compared to the part where iPad blows off the ATP.

ya...trying to find one too. want to charge using car adapter.
eh guys, if we install new apps and set it as default launcher. how to change back to stock apps ya ?
*
If I remember correctly, hold HOME button. It will trigger a menu to ask which launcher to use. It is my guess as I used other launcher for a short while before I returned to the stock launcher. But if you mean default app, I not pretty sure. Maybe need to delete something and let it reset back.

Definitely useful if you keep the keyboard dock most of the time. At least we got another great app to use with TP.

I wanna ask somethin..can tis tablet be used as a laptop lik the picture on thr 1st page?
*
First of all, productivity on tablet is not the same as the laptop. If you want to use for serious multitasking, then you will be disappointed. The reason the dock is useful is you can do some degree of document typing and quick typing for forums when browsing. For long term, it is not as useful as a laptop.

You gotta treat this as a multimedia player. For my case, I mostly use this dock as a battery extender, SD card reader, and a stand when watching movie rclxms.gif

To summarize, laptop = high productivity work. Prime = media consumption, light gaming, ebook reader.

Thanks for the heads up. thumbup.gif
Once login and register the serial number of the purchased Prime, look for the dedicated tab on the left.
You can't miss it.
It asks you to confirm your postal address.
Hopefully it will arrive very soon! laugh.gif

To those who had registered earlier before the GPS Dongle offer, you can also register for it now. rclxms.gif Now I am more certain that I did not make a mistake purchasing the Prime. Kudos Asus. thumbup.gif

Malaysia always somewhat last treatment.

But it is a good thing that we can know what possible "problem" we might encounter since we have "pioneers" to try it out tongue.gif

Do they require those who applied in 16/4 to apply again manually through the phone? Or when you call them they straight away acknowledge ur serial number?

Finally today got through. The lady seems to know that there are some people applied on the 16th. She just asked for my name and confirming my address.

Make sure someone is there to pick up during the office hour as she mentioned the delivery is done during office hour.

I will be getting mine this week too smile.gif
