1st me not Sifu, just a busy body but I really respect u off the ABS. tongue.gif
I reckon most of us set ABS to at least 1... I joined some other room with ABS off but u have to keep blip the brake pedal which is call cadence braking...

Threshold braking is u slam the brake then gradually lift off the brake to avoid lock up and before turn in point.

In GT5 the braking force is just too overwhelming before u floor the brake (or 2/3) the wheel already locked up... Discuss with friends before, all feel very unrealistic... (too bad but is true...)

Not sure what driving skill u try to improve but if u talking about real life then u are ok to settle with ABS 1 because real car won't locked up that fast, except raining &/or lousy tyre &/or super brake system...

Added on April 25, 2012, 2:11 amEvohahn,

I tried the nurburg 24hr is average 9m per lap... So it will be 1 hr 48m (not yet include pit)...

The race time u put up is 1 hr... So how ar ?

DFGT pedal... well thats why people has been modifying it.

remember that G25/27 is not officially supported by PS3 and GT5. What i do is, i just load any track, and when the car on the track, fully pressed the brake pedal. quit the session. You need to do this everytime you load GT5.

Its not the game fault, i never have a problem, just have to train your leg and feet.

Basically u mean the brake pedal too long issit ? If the brake adjust further down then the feeling is like the brake fluid failure LOL

So with ABS at 1 , do u guys slam the brakes all the way ? or 2/3 before approaching a tight corner ( like the wall in R246 tongue.gif )

Not sure which is more effective braking with ABS on hmm.gif

Forgive my noobness tongue.gif

DFGT pedals lack resistance.

brake early. Downshift helps braking. If you are driving a regular car/GT car brake 150~100 meters before the corner. I always saw people trying desperately to brake with just 50 meters to the corner.

Racing line.Braking point. Turning point.

the 2/3 is better but some people like to slam....u just need to do a lot of practise & see which method give better average laptimes (not TT)

this is my braking, simple and not advance, weight transfer tongue.gif

ok lets say 7.15 but tyre edi gone in 1 lap so need to pit (approx 30s) Full damage: if push too hard and crashed then slow down on the rest of the field (20.8km 1 lap)

Mad show us your magic again pls keke...
