** GT5 Updates **

Update 2.06 (May 22nd)

The main contents of the update are as follows:

- It is now possible to adjust the race BGM and sound effect volume from "Quick Options" during a race.

- A save data backup feature has been added.

- Compatibility for the sequential shift mode of the Guillemot "TH8 RS" gear shifter has been added.

- A "Performance Difference Adjustment" has been added to the rewards for seasonal events (Applies only to seasonal events held after this update).

- Force feedback for the "Driving Force™GT", "GT FORCE®Pro", "G25 Racing Wheel", " G27 Racing Wheel", and " T500 RS" steering wheel controllers have been improved.

- A car with racing modifications applied are now categorized as a Racing Car (previously Tuned Car).

- The off-track shortcut penalty has been tweaked.

- A new GT5 Photo Stream service has started on gran-turismo.com. Photographs taken in Photo Mode and set to "Share" will now appear on a web page viewable by all visitors.



[Correction of Known Issues]
- Fixed a problem where Karts and Ferrari F1 cars could drive together with other cars in the Lounge
- Fixed a rarely occurring issue in which the system freezes when exiting the lounge
- Fixed a problem where you could purchase tires for the 125 SPL racing Kart in the tuning parts shop (Tires purchased previously will now become invalid)
- Fixed a problem in which the straight-line stability of the Lancer Evolution X was decreased when using a steering wheel controller
- Fixed an issue where wrong color dirt and snow tire wheels were displayed on some cars when the wheels were changed
- Fixed delay when launchiing electric cars using controllers other than a steering wheel controller pedal
- Fixed a rarely occurring issue where the system would freeze at the end of a race
- Fixed an issue where it becomes difficult to hear your own car when driving with other racecars in online races, etc.

This item adds the Twin Ring Motegi 'Road Course', 'Super Speedway', 'East Course' and 'West Course' to Gran Turismo 5. The price of the DLC will be $5.00.

Scion FR-S '12

This content adds the front engine-rear wheel drive Scion FR-S '12 to Gran Turismo 5. The DLC will be free of charge.
This compact FR (front engine, rear drive) sportscar debuting from Scion is a brother to the Toyota 86 sold in Japan. Add the fun to drive FR model to your own garage with this download.

PP : 450 PP. No race cars only production cars. Tuner cars are allowed

Room Settings :

- Damage FULL
- AIDS - All ON
- Soft Sport Tyres ONLY
- False Start Option ON
- Boost OFF
- Fuel & Tyre Consumption ON
- Drafting WEAK
- 5 laps race
- Voice Chat DISABLE

Tracks : Voting style. At the moment DLC based track is unavailable since I'm using R1 DLC and disc. I will try to get hold of R3 disc (will update later).

How to join :

- Just add evoHahnGT5 to your PSN/SEN friend list.
- Log in to GT5 at the stipulated time. Click on Community and then click on the coffee cup icon. Select evoHahnGT5 from the list.
- You may have problem joining the room - when the happens; Just restart the PS3 / modem.
- Drivers are given time to practice before the race starts.
- If you join the room and the race is already begun, you can watch the race and join the next race.

House rules :

- be courteous to your fellow driver. No bangging on purpose.
- If you want to play hit and run, I suggest you try games like BurnOut or NFS.
- Please dont click the Race button, just click the Drive button.
- If your car is damage, you can pit to repair your car.

- I've bring down the PP back to 425PP since lot of cars hitting each other (Including me LOL)
- Spa is now available

I will keep the damage to max and the reasons i already explained in the previous thread.

About the lag issues, well i cant ban people who wants to join and its not their fault anyways since our BB infra is not to par yet.

Thanks to people for coming yesterday. I think we had around 14 drivers.

To those with lagging issues, make sure you dont run any programs in the background such as torrents, streaming etc etc.

Since i use the R3 disc yesterday, i had to do the update all over again and start with zero on my saved game. So i only have the FT86, which surprisingly good. Just one drawback is the car swap ends under heavy braking, meaning i have to tweak the antiroll bar + brake force a little further.

Not hosting tonite. sorry.

any logitech wheel will do, just how much are you willing to spend for it.

G27 is better than G25 in term of there's more button on the steering wheel and d-pad button on the gear console which great for PS3. The one thing missing from G27 is the sequential gear shift which is available to G25. everything else still the same.

Tonite is my futsal nite, but if it rains tonite, i might be hosting a session.

If i dont post anything by 8.30 pm, meaning i'm off playing futsal

Trophies i'm not sure, but the savegame dont.
