apartment will only be ready in 2016.
question is should
1) i put all rm200k in asb and forget abt the property
2) down payment rm100k, loan 10 yrs for the balance, rm100k in asb or
3) use rm200k for the apartment

hi...how do u get 200k in ASB ? Do u take any ASB loan ?
lets me share my story....
last year i just bought under construction apartment cost rm135K in setia alam,
but facing difficulty to get a good housing loan (good blr and sum of loan) and
i end up by using personal loan by BSN (interest 3.88 fixed) for 20 years for loan amount 200K,
luckily in eligible for the loan rclxms.gif
due to the apartment is still under construction i just put 100K in ASB while waiting progress payment ,
the rest of money i do full settlement for car and ptptn...some in fixed deposit,,sspn,, buy dinar, kijang emas,...
and i already got around 1k of dividend from ASB (i just put the money on October onward),
and every 3 months enjoy the dividend from fixed deposit..
if your government servant i advise u to take the personal loan from bank rakyat or bsn...

previously, you can make the loan toady, and tomorrow you can cancel the loan w/o any penalty

now, there's a lock in period of 2 yrs IINM from maybank
*
but the officer from maybank said that there is no lock in period for islamic asb loan,
can terminate anything
