Well, as for me, i never get a chance to open the ASW2020 account..

I asked a few times on whether i can try to open the account with minimum deposit of RM100 (because i know high deposit reduces the chance since the quota is full), but the officer inform me that the account cannot be opened unless there is additional units for subscription.

Too bad..

They tried to deposit all at once but cant and have to break it down to 3 transactions

where are you deposit? is it as long as you have 100k, you can place deposit to any account (e.g. ASM & ASW2020) anytime for non-bumi?

he must be lucky. you should check on monday. maybe a group of people sold a large chunk of their ASW2020 or something on friday. 

correct. even bumi quota is full. perhaps he's an indian - there's 5% quota allocation for indians IINM

but that aside, i'm linking my AS1M account to my M2u. i dun see they mention any charges at all. anyone used it before? any charges?

last time i always use cheque, but now they will impose 50 sen charge for every cheques starting apr 2014. so ayam nao adjusting most of my online IBG transactions to 50k limit

Based on my own previous experiences, I agree wit this statement. Banks are more interested in ASB loans as it is their own product and make more money than just commissions from transaction.

where do you normally invest in ASB?

when I ask the banker, they told me that it is not possible to do that..i mean the 1501 ...and so on..the banker told me the number must be round up to the nearest rm10...so, in your case rm1500 only accepted

Managed to get some asw2020 units today. Not much, just small amount only 
(after failing to get ASM).

Actually I went to get ASM first, after try "key in" few times failed, then just try asw2020. Suddenly the staff say "successful". Me very happy lor    (Every year since 2010, after dividend announce I always failed to get any units )
