QUOTE(kurangak @ Apr 11 2012, 01:06 PM) its a broad spectrum dewormer... someone suggest me to use flubendazole to kill hydra n planaria, but i cant find flubendazole in pharmacy... since it has active ingredient of albendazole, which is in the same drug family of flubendazole (benzimidazole), maybe it is use-able? GOOD LUCK! edit:- i think ill take the risk n dose it... wish me luck |

QUOTE(LuQEE @ Apr 12 2012, 11:45 PM) IMHO, hair algae will looked nice, IF, they concentrated in one place and start to take shape, but they dont Whatever crap i found today around my japanese grass is a nicely clumped up hair algae, u want? haha can donate to u xD I will be expecting more of them when i will be away for 3 weeks for holiday lol.i tried to use it and jumble(?) it up into a ball(DIY marimo) but after one day, they started to stick everywhere and end up growing everywhere. will try again i guess and start looking for them in my tank and cultivating hair algae for my experimental purpose |

QUOTE(kurangak @ Apr 16 2012, 01:42 PM) were told that GSA hav lifecycle of 3 weeks...after that theyll die off n wont come back again...if scrape would spread them to other part of tank... Wah u must share how u dose zentel had alot of GSA in my tank 2... already left them for 2 weeks... hope theyll just magically die off next week...lol... edit:- zentel dosing for hydra update...done a major water change on friday itself, then didnt dose anymore (i dosed 1 time only) cant see any hydra polyp anymore...oto n cory was doing fine, amano barely surviving, ... n i think it also kill most of nematodes in my tank... will see in 2 weeks time, if still no hydra then i deemed this method is successful |
