QUOTE(LuQEE @ Apr 23 2012, 03:37 PM) add one large Astronotus ocellatus will be more than enuff, they will be mentally traumatized for life. Unfortunately, other fishes also will sense and suffered the traumatized effect too don't wan't lor.huhu. SAE like to smack my river fishes. i pity them. shrimps also burrow some hole under the hardscape to hide from him. what a gangster fish.huuu. but he is very hardworking.i don't want to retire him from the tank. |

i just crossed in mind to scape my another tank. i have a secondhand ADA malaya soil. im gonna use as base soil plus a new Ada Amazonia soil on top. is there any impact to my tank parameter and ecology once the parameter stabilized? i heard that the Malaya soil will make the PH went down. is it true? huhu.
please advise This post has been edited by sang gemok: Apr 23 2012, 05:05 PM |

QUOTE(LuQEE @ Apr 27 2012, 11:43 AM) those so called hair algae are 2-3mm long..and usually just stay like that i guess..will take sample and try to cultivate them IF THEY stuck to the soil or hardscape and not easy to pull, it is surely hair algae.if they easily came off, they are definitely marimo. go cultivate them.maybe you will experience something that benefit us.i would like to see the conclusion. do inform me on this yah. hehehe. |
