Hi all, need to get some advice here. A friend's apartment sinky was blocked. The sinky is in the kitchen, the water just refused to flow through. A plumber commented that it might be due to small stones which were stucked inside the piping. Any remedy for this?

QUOTE(JinXXX @ Mar 5 2012, 06:10 PM) get something called a "plumbing snake" Sorry a bit blur. What is this plumbing snake? A kind of a rope or something to insert into the pipe? Where can I buy one?

Thanks alot all taikors here. Learned a lot about plumbing. Initially my friend used some kind of liquid (unsure whether alkali base or not), but it didnt work after few times. Perhaps can get a "snake" to do the job now.
